#OAORQUESTRA
Johannes Brahms is one of the most unavoidable composers in the European canon and has been the subject of countless tributes and musical homages. An example of this is the set of variations on a theme by him that the Italian Leone Sinigaglia composed in 1901 while living in Vienna, where the German composer's music was prevalent. The idea is to bring together a tribute and a recipient: Brahms' first quartet followed by Sinigaglia's variations, music that has never been performed in Portugal.
